Sexual health services from GP surgeries
GP practices are able to provide routine contraception, tests and treatment for common sexually transmitted infections and cervical smear tests. Many GPs also provide coils, implants and able to supply free condoms.

There are three Practices that provide more specialised services and are available to anyone, you do not need to be registered with these practices to get an appointment. Practitioners at these services will have a special interest and training in this area of work.

Waverley Care Argyll and Bute
Waverley Care provides services across the NHS Highland region including Argyll & Bute.
Waverley Care provides:
- Support services for people living with HIV.
- HIV prevention and information services.
- HIV and Hepatitis B and C testing service.
- Free condoms and lube by post scheme.
- Outreach information and resources to men who have sex with men.
- Sexual health information and advice.
- Training and workshops for professionals, young people and groups.
- LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) support and information .
- Support service for people living with Hepatitis C.

Youth Health Drop-in Services
Youth Health Drop Ins (YHDI) provide sexual health services specifically for young people. They operate on a drop in basis unless stated otherwise, so there is no need to phone to make an appointment - just turn up on the day.

1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 16.00-18.00
Free confidential health, education, promotion and advice delivered by GP and nurses. Condom and Pregnancy testing services available. Open to 13-19 year olds.
