Rape & Sexual Assault

Nobody should have to have sex if they don't want to or be involved in any kind of unwanted sexual activity.

Help and support is available if it's happened to you or you're worried it's happening to someone else.

Are you or is someone else in immediate danger?

Dial 999, try to remain calm and answer the questions the emergency operator asks you as best you can.

If you think you or someone else is at risk of being raped, assaulted or abused

If you've been abused or sexually assaulted in the past

The first thing to know is that it's never your fault.

Nobody should have to put up with being sexually abused or assaulted.

It can take a long time to come to terms with being treated in this way. Talking to someone about what happened can help you work through your feelings.

Rape Crisis Argyll and Bute offer advice and support to people 13 years and over who have suffered sexual abuse, assault or rape.
